Around The Grange
Mar News from Vernon Grange No. 52

By Irene Percoski

  MARCH 27, 2024 --

April 5: Membership Committee Invited

May 3: Coventry comes with the program. Ref. Claudia & Dawn

Zoom meetings are at best a meeting. I’m not a fan but it’s a way to stay connected. In February we learned all about bluebirds. How people have regarded them over the centuries, what their habitats are like, how they have become so rare when natural forests are cut down, how many people, mostly farmers, build nests for them in their fields because they are a great source of insect control, and just in general one of the prettiest birds to see. I think the most popular idea is that the bluebird is the symbol of happiness.

Our next meeting is still a Zoom meeting which will be presented by Dawn on Family Activities.

Our condolences are extended to the family and friends of Gordon Gibson on his passing in February.

We love to have visitors, contact Nancy for the zoom information. Reminder, Easter is early this year on March 31. Happy egg hunting.
