  MARCH 24, 2024 --

March 27: Meeting -Garden Preparation and Planning

March 28: Chicken Pot Pies Sale Another busy winter for us. We made

Valentines for the community. These were lollipops with special messages attached. These were designed by each member and distributed by our members and also distributed to the Community Kitchen. We were glad to welcome Noel Miller from Eastern CT Pomona and Ted Powell State Overseer. They brought us a new Charter as our original was misplaced. It was to be framed and displayed. Christmas fundraising pie sale was well received. Nice to have the community stop in to pick up their orders. Amy presented a listing of many community events that are offered in Woodstock. Our website is up and running. Great for others to see what is happening at our Grange and other organizations in our area. The pollinator garden that was planted this fall will be an asset to the environment. We often discuss what else we can do to improve the community.

The yoga group is using the hall as well as the corn hole group. We welcome others to use the hall as it has a beautiful wood floor and full stage. Line dancing is very popular here. Scholarship applications for local students will be available this spring. These are presented annually. Hope to see visitors anytime.
