| MARCH 1, 2023 -- Mark your Calendars! “CT Grange Family Festival” will be held at Hillstown Grange in East Hartford on August 11-13, 2023. Friday we will be at the Hall to collect all your needlework entries be- tween 3 and 6pm. We will also take any items you made for the New England Grange Building so you don’t have to make a separate trip up to the Big E. We will also collect any photos you have for the Lecturers contest. Saturday morning, we will be there at 8 am for those who cannot make Friday’s hours. Please bring us your entries by 10:30am promptly as they must be there be- fore the Judging starts and need to be processed first. If you cannot make either day, anyone who has entries can always make arrangements with any Family Activities committee member prior to those dates.
Speaking of judging, Each Po- mona is responsible for providing 1 judge. Contact your Pomona CFA Chairperson if you are interested.
The judging starts at 11 am. sharp and we will provide you with a nice lunch and promise you will enjoy the afternoon!
Be sure to come on Sunday for all the fun activities. Hillstown will be putting on their wonderful pancake breakfast on Sunday. It will be a fun surprise to see what they come up with for their Festival Flavor! Back by popular demand, we will have our tea cup auction for you to try your hand at winning some- thing fun.
Then to finish off the afternoon, The State Lecturer will be having all of their year-end contests once we finish up with breakfast. Last year was amazing and I can’t wait to see what’s instore for this year.
