More opportunities in the Community Service Contest

MARCH 2007 -- A new and exciting year is upon us. The Granges of Connecticut have been best known for their dedication to their neighbors and community, giving countless hours of time and goods to better the lives of those around them and we anticipate 2007 to be no different.
We are excited to introduce a new format in the community Service Program here in Connecticut. There are now two categories. Granges with membership 50 and under, and Granges with membership 51 and above. There will be an award for first, second and third place in each category, with cash prizes of $75, $50, and $25 respectively. A “Grand Champion” will be chosen from the two first place winners.
It is our goal for 2007 to have all Granges complete the Community Service report and send it in no later than September 1st, 2007. 100% reporting is possible and would be exciting for this to happen so we can truly see the great work of ALL the Granges here in Connecticut.
