| MARCH 3, 2013 -- Again this year the National Grange is sponsoring a quilt square contest.
This year’s contest will be a Christmas Star. Reference page 66 “501 Rotary Cut Quilt Blocks”. Size will be 12 1/2” x 12 1/2” unfinished so it will be 12 inches when finished. The colors will be red, green and white. No names should appear on the front of the block but the name of the entrant should be pinned to the back of the square. The quilt squares need to be brought to State Session in October for judging. Judging will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. The quilt squares will become the property of the State Grange Family Activities Committee.
