Please join us for the 146th Annual Convention of the National Grange! The Western Region states of Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming invite everyone to attend the wonderful activities they have planned. Come join your Grange friends from across the nation at the Boise Centre November 13th through the 17th as we “Climb Every Mountain” together.

World Center for Birds of Prey – Delegate Tour
The Velma Morrison Interpretive Center is waiting to welcome you into the exciting world of birds of prey! Explore and discover the amazing world of raptors eye to eye. Experience a courtyard full of native and non-native birds. Continue your experience inside with daily raptor presentations, interactive exhibits, and tours of the Archives of Falconry.
Amalgamated Sugar Company – General Tour & Youth Tour
The Amalgamated Sugar Company is a sugar beet refining company run on a cooperative basis. It was founded in 1897 in Logan, Utah and is now located in Nampa, Idaho. The company markets its sugar under the White Satin brand.
Ste. Chapelle Winery – General Tour
From atop Winery Hill, Ste. Chapelle overlooks the fertile orchards and farmland of the Snake River Valley in the Sunny Slope region of Southwestern Idaho; land that supplies the superior grapes for Ste. Chapelle’s award-winning wines that capture the unique character of every vintage.
Nunhems Seed Company – General Tour
As one of the world’s leading supplier of vegetable seeds, Nunhems, a subsidiary of Bayer CropScience, is the global specialist in vegetable genetics and services. They share products, concepts and expertise with the professional horticultural production industry and supply chain. With an extensive range of 28 crops and some 2,500 varieties, Nunhems is present in all major vegetable production areas in the world.
Boise State University – Youth Tour
Bronco Stadium at BSU is home to the only blue Astro Turf field in the world. Built in 1970, the stadium underwent several expansions over the years to reach its current capacity of 33,500 seats. Boise State established a first in 1986 when it installed the blue turf. The current blue field is the third one, constructed of the new “Astro Play” and was installed in 2002.
The Idaho Foodbank – Youth Tour
Established in 1984, The Idaho Foodbank is an independent nonprofit who works with a network of donors, volunteers and partners to distribute food directly to those in need. It is the largest hunger relief organization and the largest distributor of free emergency food in Idaho, distributing 8.9 million pounds of food last year alone. The Youth will volunteer at the foodbank during their day of tours.
Discovery Center of Idaho – Junior Tour
The Discovery Center of Idaho’s mission is to inspire lifelong interest and learning in science, technology, engineering and math. Create your own 7 foot tall tornado, blow gigantic bubbles from the Bubble Wall exhibit, or see how pulleys work with a ride in the air brake chair. These are just a few of the 200 exhibits at Idaho’s only hands-on, interactive science museum.
Julia Davis Park / Zoo Boise – Junior Tour
This 89 acre regional park is located near downtown Boise and serves as the cultural and historic heart of the city. Julia Davis Park is home to recreation areas, a rose garden, several museums, the zoo and the Discovery Center of Idaho. Zoo Boise features over 200 animals including lions and giraffes you will see when you explore the African Plains Exhibit; and goats, sheep and llamas that you can feed in the Zoo Farm area.
