FEBRUARY 21, 2012 -- Join us in Washington, D.C. as we meet with our Congressional Delegates and advocate for a stronger rural America May 14-16!
Fly-In attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet with their elected representatives in Congress and their staff to discuss the issues facing our nation today.
In preparation for these meetings, experts from all over Washington will brief Grangers on relevant issues that are having an impact on the Grange, rural America and local communities all over the country. Issues include:
- Spectrum and its importance to broadband expansion
- Medicare and Medicaid expenditures and fraud
- 2012 Farm Bill
- Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, & Rodenticide Act (FIFRA)
Attending Grangers will also be treated to a tour of the Capitol building. Located at the heart of Washington, D.C., the United States Capitol stands as a pillar of democracy, freedom and our American history. Join us as we take a tour through this most historic landmark.
Come let your voice and the voice of your local communities be heard in your nation’s capital. Together we can advocate for a stronger rural America and show Washington the Grange’s dedication to our American Values. Hometown Roots.
