Harvest New England 2011 Trade Show Announced

By CT Department of Agriculture (6/2010)

  AUGUST 2, 2010 --

The New England State Departments of Agriculture, in cooperation with agricultural organizations across the region, invite you to participate as an exhibitor in the upcoming Harvest New England Agricultural Marketing Conference and Trade Show.

Whether you provide a product or service to farmers in New England or have a unique product for a roadside stand, this is the show for you.

Over 800 attendees joined us for our second conference in February, 2009. A new show schedule in 2011 will allow for a longer exclusive block of time dedicated to the trade show on the first day.

Growers from across the Northeast will convene in scenic Sturbridge, Massachusetts on Wednesday, March 2, and Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center. Booth set up is on Wednesday, March 2 from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The conference is sponsored by all 6 New England State Departments of Agriculture and Harvest New England, in cooperation with agricultural associations from across the region, including Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA), Cooperative Development Institute, Essex Buy Local, Federation of Massachusetts Farmers' Markets, the Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership (SEMAP), Cooperative Extension and more.

This unique marketing conference targets New England growers interested in learning new marketing ideas or fine-tuning strategies for business success. There will be multiple educational and networking opportunities. The conference schedule will allow specific times for attendees to visit the trade show to maximize your exposure.

Space is limited; send in your registration form with payment as soon as possible for the best space selection. Trade show registration received before August 31st costs $425, after August 31st, 2010, $525.
