  JULY 9, 2026 --

On June 1, Music Monday - Our monthly music series continued with our own Dave Galt, also fondly known as A Thing Called Dave.

Dave is a huge local favorite with fans across the area and is known for his incredible guitar skills, live- looping, and upbeat performances. He frequently performs covers and original music at venues, taprooms, and restaurants across the region, including regular gigs in Collinsville. Doors are always at 6:30, music at 7:00.

June 12th, we held our monthly business meeting - planning for our 6/13 annual fair.

On June 13th - Saturday, from 10-3. Simsbury Grange’s Agricultural Fair was held. You may have missed it but save the date for June 12th, 2027 because we’ll be back! This year’s fair was tremendous! We are a small fair, but we had dozens of contest entries, children’s activities, a crock pot kitchen, bake sale, open mic performers, our local library, a Master Gardener table, and SO much more including 2 special performances from the Sweet Adelines and our local Villari’s Martial Arts Center students. AND….the weather cooperated. Special thanks go out to our area performers and all of the Grangers who helped in SO many ways. Best fair ever!!

July  6th  -  Music  Monday - Joshua Aciares! As a singer- songwriter, Aciares has developed a distinctive sound characterized by a sophisticated blend of acoustic, indie rock, experimental, and shoegaze influences. His compositions resonate with audiences on a deeply personal level, combining raw emotion with intricate melodic structures. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Maynard James Keenan, Deftones, and Peter Gabriel, his music embodies a fusion of heartfelt lyricism and innovative artistry. Doors at 6:30, music at 7:00pm. You won’t want to miss this one!!

July 9th - Monthly meeting - Debriefing our fair and voting for positions will highlight this meeting.
