Our March meeting on Zoom featured a program on forest health in Connecticut. Frank Cervo, CT DEEP forester presented an extremely interesting and informative overview of the history and composition of Connecticut forests, passive and active forest management and so much more. Did you know that Connecticut, with 71% of forest privately owned and only 17% as state owned, is the 14th most forested state and the 4th most populated? We are grateful to Frank for an excellent program.
We plan to be back in person in our hall for our April meeting. We welcome your visit, please check to be sure we are meeting in person.
