| AUGUST 8, 2023 -- Alice Salvas, a lifetime resident of Monroe, CT passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side. Alice was a proud Grange member for 65 years, first in Trumbull and later at Harmony Grange in Monroe. She was a graduate of Bassick High School class of “53” and a retired secretary of Stepney Elementary School in Monroe CT for 22 years. Alice celebrated her wedding and 50th wedding anniversary in a grange hall. She was an avid reader, enjoyed ceramics, spending time with her family and vacationing at her cabin in Bartlett, NH. |
