Wallingford Grange is still plowing away (see what I did there?). We remain very busy cleaning and refurbishing our grand ol’ building. She has a such sparkle underneath all those layers of time.

Our regular monthly meeting is the second Thursday of each month. Each meeting and our outreach to members includes the Heirloom program as we are newer in membership. During the June 8th meeting, the Lecturer Program introduce the Families Activity – Teacup Arrangement. A donation of teacups and saucers were available for all to take. Drop off to the Wallingford Grange is on August 7.

In June, our Fair book Cover Contest concluded. The fair committee reached out to all our 3rd graders in town in both public and private schools, asking them to draw what “Community” meant to them. We picked a cover winner and two inside centerfold winners.

The remaining entries will be hung with pride in our Hall the day of the fair. This will be an annual contest for us to share with our youngsters in Wallingford. A great way to introduce us to them.

June also kept us busy with fundraising. A clothing drive was held on both June 24th & 25th. On June 28th a fundraiser was held at Center Street Brewery (24 Wallace Ave Wallingford). Center Street Brewery has been such a huge supporter of ours. We are truly blessed by them.
