| MAY 17, 2023 -- On April 1st. Greenfield Hill Grange was the venue for a Luncheon and Panel Discussion. The subject was “Building a Local Food Supply”. There were three speakers. Cornelia Olsen, grange member, spoke about her experience of turning her lawn into a backyard farm. Haley Schulman spoke about her work with the organization Food Rescue, US, Fairfield County. And Sean Fitzpatrick, the founder of Real Food CT, spoke about growing and distributing fresh vegetables to food- insecure people in Connecticut’s large cities, There was a large turnout for a delicious lunch and interesting talk.

If you love your freedom, thank a veteran. The Greenfield Hill Grange has been collecting puzzles, games, snacks, and necessities for the veterans at the VA hospital in West Haven.
Nancy Olson and Cathy Raynor recently made a delivery of these much needed (and appreciated) donations.
