November 11, 2019 -- Taghhannuck Grange had a very busy October.
Bill, Diane, Brent, Mike and Debbie became Pomona members by taking the Fifth Degree on Oct. 5th at a special degree day held by Dutchess County Pomona in New York.
The following day we set up a Taghhannuck booth at Freund’s Open Farm Day and eight people gave us emails to learn more about the Grange plus many more learned “What is the Grange?”
At our regular meeting on Oct. 10 we had a lively discussion about the seven resolutions assigned to our Agriculture/Conservation and Environment Committee for State Session so as to get a consensus for adopting or rejecting the resolutions. Our Master, Secretary and Treasurer will be going to State Session as of this writing.
We have only one meeting in November on the 14th at 7:30 P.M. The program is Let’s Be Thankful.
If anyone reading this is on Facebook it would be appreciated if you would like and follow us so you can see what is going on in a timely manner in case you might like to attend an event. To find us just put “Taghhannuck Grange No. 100” in the search box.
