Our October meeting was full of scary stuff; scary things to hear, scary things to touch. Even Patty the Pomona Platypus visited us dressed in a scary ghost costume, in line with the theme of the evening. Patty left us to go to Coventry Grange, but we trust that she will be back for another visit at Vernon Grange.
Our first craft night of this year was productive; we were able to complete New Year’s favors for 3 local extended care facilities. At our pre-meeting dinner (6:15 P.M.), we will have a baked potato bar. All will bring something to share as topping for baked potatoes. We would love to have you join us, please let us know if you are coming so we can have a hot potato for you! We are also collecting bags of potatoes to help Hockanum Valley Community Council provide 500 holiday meals to those in need in the greater Vernon area.
