On an evening of perfect weather, we brought a BBQ to the veterans at Phelps Village in Rockville. Grill masters Theona and Joe did a great job with hamburgers and hot dogs. All enjoyed the food and conversation. Grangers sure do know how to put on a great meal!
We have scheduled many craft nights in the upcoming year. At our first one this year, we made New Year’s party favors; enough to supply three area nursing homes. Now on to SWAG bags for the veterans...
At our October meeting, some scary stuff will get us in the mood for Halloween. In November, we will celebrate gathering in and gathering together. Before our November meeting, our meal will be a baked potato bar. You are welcome to join us. Be sure to let us know if you plan to come.
