Sept. 21: Celebrating Ag at the Woodstock Fairgrounds
The Grange continues to be active and we have regular meetings. Our program in July was by member Mary Ellen Blake who spoke on her recent visit to Ireland.
Several members will be working at the Celebrating Ag event on Sat. Sept. 21. A tour of the Fairvue Farm owned by 3 members of the Grange will be held during the event. We will have our annual fair on Sat. Sept. 14. We always have great participation of produce, crafts and baking. We were honored to have 2 Woodstock Academy seniors apply for the 2 scholarships we have available. They are awarded the funds at our special meeting when they discuss their future plan and bring their families. The Grange continues to distribute surplus food from local stores. Thanks to members who do this for us. Looking forward to members joining us for these events.
