The Fair Committee has been hard at work since January, meeting on a regular basis and planning various events that will take place on August 25th. Tasks and assignments are getting accomplished. A great day for agriculture and family is planned, so we hope to see many Grange members in attendance. We’ve been holding some mini-baking contests for members and videotaping how they are judged so our fair-goers can see what judging is all about.
We had a fun evening in late March with Silent Movies and John Mucci providing a dazzling piano accompaniment to the program of Laurel & Hardy. We know that all who came had such a great time seeing vintage films and enjoying the comedy.
Our Grange will celebrate 120 years on May 4th meeting in the same building! The actual celebration is being held on Saturday evening, May 11th as the Hall is already engaged for something else on May 4th. We’ll have more details on the event soon.
