We have been busy this fall with regular meetings.
In November, we made and sold over 100 pies for the Thanksgiving sale fundraiser. Thanks to all who helped, especially Ciri Miller, UConn freshman who gave up some of her break.
We were saddened to hear of the death of longtime member Shirley Wilbur on Oct. 12.
We had a special election for members of the Executive Committee. Carol Smith for 2 years and Paul Horanzy for 3 years.
We submitted our food service application to the Northeast Dept. of Health.
We received a request from the local DAR requesting canceled stamps for the Wounded Veterans Project.
The CWA attended the regional CWA meeting in Hillstown Grange. |
