| August 18, 2018 -- Aug. 23: “Being Optimistic”
Taghhannuck had a very successful Rummage and Plant sale. This is our big fund raiser for the year and we are very happy with the results. A big thank you to all our members who helped out by putting up posters for donations and then again for the sale , donated rummage, sorted and priced it, picked up the plants and then put them out again, helped the day of the sale and then helped clean up afterwards. It was worth all the work and effort.
We have begun working on our display for the Cornwall Agricultural Fair that takes place September 8th in Cornwall. We are hoping some of you reading this will come and enjoy the fair and say hello. We feel this exhibit will bring in new members and the more Grangers there to talk to visitors the better.
August 9th is our picnic at the Master’s house (yes, it is also the Treasurer’s house) at 6:30. It is potluck with BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs. So bring a covered dish as all are welcome including non-grangers (again this is outreach for new members). Please join us.
