By Todd Gelineau

  November 7, 2016 --

Nov. 4: Fall Super Prize Party & Bake Sale, doors open at 6 P.M., drawing begins at 7 P.M.

Nov. 8: A Chill in the Air, Ref. Sara Bement & Mimi Grustas

Nov. 22: A Time for Being Thankful, Potluck at 6 P.M.

A big thank you from this writer to all of the members and guests who attended Winchester’s Oct. 11 meeting.  It was a surprise to be honored that evening with a “roast” in celebration of 19 years as Master of Winchester. Thank you for the kind words, gifts and gentle roasting! I’ve said it before and have heard many others say that it would be hard to imagine being a Grange member without belonging to Winchester Grange.  It’s a special Grange and it has been an honor to serve and honor Winchester Grange.

Our next event will be our Fall Super Prize Party and Bake Sale on November 4th. What’s a Super Prize Party? It’s a giant teacup auction or country store that also features larger prizes. It’s a fun time with free refreshments. Cards of tickets are only $1.00 each. It’s a great deal for a night out. Doors will open at 6:00 P.M. and the drawing of prizes will begin promptly at 7:00 P.M.
