| FEBRUARY 14, 2015 -- Hillstown Grange is holding a Pot Luck Dinner and Garden event on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for our Pot Luck dinner followed by a gardeners’ forum about getting our gardens started. It’s time to clean out the pantry so food is anyone’s guess.
The Agricultural Committee has updates on free seeds and this year’s gardening contests. Gardening discussion with question and answer time will start at 7:00 p.m. giving all gardeners a chance to talk and dream about our 2015 gardens. Bring your favorite seed catalogs to share. Remember in a couple of weeks winter will end and we can plant our peas!
Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills Street, East Hartford, CT. Located in the Hillstown corner of East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester since 1888. The Grange is the oldest Agricultural group in the United States.
Free event, so come spend some time with fellow gardeners and enjoy some homemade soup.
