Meriden Grange News for November

By M. Harrison

  NOVEMBER 3, 2014 --

Meriden Grange recently started on our Fall Dinners and October’s was a success.  We welcomed back some old friends and had visiting Grangers come for dinner.  Meriden Grange will have hosted a dinner in November by the time you read this, and in December too, so keep your eyes out for the upcoming menu.

Due to the spectacular weather this September, we are happy to report that there are still some garden tomtatoes at our house.  I think I will use the last in a fresh tomato pizza.

I hope there are those Grangers who are still young at heart for Trick or Treating.  Meriden has a pumpkin patch at one of the local churches.  The pumpkins were grown on a Navajo reservation.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, and as always, neighbors are invited.
