| OCTOBER 5, 2014 -- Colchester Grange welcomed guests from Norwich, Coventry, Manchester, Enfield, Lyme and Groton for instllations at our Sept. 8 meeting. Meeting was followed by a social and all enjoyed getting together for some great food and conversation.
We received a thank you from the Willimantic Food Bank for our donations to their food kitchen. Colchester Grange has donated over 600 lbs. of vegetables to food banks this season.
A special thanks to Leonard Farm for all their contributions that add so much to our community service goals.
Colchester Grange will be continuing their sponsorship of Veterans this year for the holidays, and will soon be receiving information as to how we can fulfill each Veteran’s needs for Christmas. This is a worthwhile project that our entire Grange enjoys.
Our August picnic was held at Leonard Farm and was enjoyed by all. Thanks to Polly Leonard for hosting us again this year.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Marion Culhane our outgoing Secretary for her years of service and dedication, and welcome to Heidi Brown as she takes Marion’s place.
