| JUNE 4, 2014 -- Strong Family Farm will be hosting a container gardening class by Cathy Testa, a professional container garden designer located in Broad Brook, CT on June 11th at 6:30.
Cathy blogs weekly on ContainerCrazyCT.com and has been designing small gardens and containers for over eight years. She has a business called, Cathy T's Landscape Designs and hold an Associates of Applied Science degrees from UCONN. She will be discussing how to incorporate decorative edibles in mixed container gardens. She will cover big edible trends and provide the how-to's for success in container gardening and patio pots.
This is a hands-on class! Bring your own plants, large container with drain holes, and potting mix for container gardening. Cathy T will assist you on how to combine and plant during this session. Cost is $5. Plants might be available for purchase that night. Don’t have a container yet and want to learn? The farm has 5 new window boxes to design and plant.
