| FEBRUARY 4, 2014 -- It is January 1st so Happy New Year. All those that attended the Christmas Party had a really nice evening. We were able to collect 72 Childrens’ books. They were delivered to the Glastonbury Social Service Department on December 9th. I thank all who donated the books. It helped to make some child’s Christmas a little brighter.
The Blue Books have not come out yet, but this years baking contest is “Carmel Rocky Road Bars. That does sound delicious. I will make copies of the recipe for all as soon as I am can. Thesubordinate judging will be held at our April 3rd meeting. I hope those that do needlework will make something for the contest this year. The State Judging will be in Cheshire in June. That is not that far away. Keep those needles busy.
HEADS UP: May 3rd is our Semi-Annual Food and Unique Boutique Sale. Keep this date on your calendar. We do need everyone’s assistance. Hope to see you at some of our meetings and at the card parties. Bring a friend or two with you to enjoy a really fun evening with plenty of refreshments. Wishing all a Healthy and Happy New Year.
