FEBRUARY 15, 2014 -- Your toes will be tapping and hands will be clapping as music fills the air for a special evening at Simsbury Grange Hall. Simsbury Grange is hosting a concert by Gossamer Wings on Saturday, February 22nd at Simsbury Grange Hall, 236 Farms Village Road in West Simsbury. The evening begins at 7:00 PM.
Gossamer Wings is Caroline Jestin on vocals, Mark Shapiro on clarinet, and Scott Mitchell on guitar. Their music is a “mish-mash of pop, folk, oldies, and Brazil!” Admission is $10.00 at the door. Parking is available at the Grange Hall and additional parking is available across the street at the Post Office.
Simsbury Grange #197 was organized on November 5, 1931. Today, the group plays an important role in the community, and is best known for its Agricultural Fair each summer as well as lectures, programs and more.
