| OCTOBER 9, 2013 -- Steve Golias, our Lecturer, gave a presentation on home canning to 18 persons on a Saturday morning in August. It was well received with three taking Grange applications.
At our regular meeting, the Fair was the main topic. An additional planning session was held the day after Labor Day. Sandwiches, etc. were generously provided by new members, Diane and Paul Lytwyn. Many thanks!
Several members were extremely busy getting the hall spruced up for the Fair and other commitments. Interior painting was matched by outside yard work and a hired crew that put a new roof on our porches.
Plans call for a “harvest dinner” to precede our regular meeting. One additional reason to celebrate is that we have been in continuous existence for 120 years! All of our Grange friends are welcome to all of our meetings and activities.
