| SEPTEMBER 10, 2013 -- In June, Dan Mutchler was elected our Assistant Steward, filling the vacancy created by the death of Gene Bromley. Nancy Weissmuller was elected to the Executive Committee.
We will hold our September meeting as guests of Stonington Grange, Stonington has a lovely hall with soft benches to sooth our weary... bones, and delicious refreshments!
Don’t forget the Pomona fundraiser on the 21st from 10AM to 2 PM. Debbie Barnes has been working very hard to make this an exciting event. There will be a raffle of several great prizes as well as the Civil War encampment, appraisals, demonstrations, exhibits, food and entertainment. I’m pretty sure the raffle tickets will be on sale at our meeting on the 12th, or contact Debbie.
The summer is almost over,
And boy, it sure was hot!
The fundraiser ought to be cooler,
