| AUGUST 6, 2013 -- Hillstown Grange held a celebration of members in June. Amongst those honored were three generations from the Schaefer family. Celebrating 65 years of Grange membership were Ernest Starsiak, Irene Ghila and Philip Mitchell. 60 years of Grange membership were Rita Schaefer and Ed Durrenburger. 50 years of Grange membership Linda Schaefer Wisnieski. And celebrating 25 years of Grange membership were Helene Forrest and Laura Bloch (Rita Schaefer’s granddaughter).
We also recognized our Grange Member Volunteer of the year, Nancy Columbe. And our Citizen of the Year award went to Helen Little who has volunteered over 30 years for the American Red Cross, Saint Christopher’s Church as well as many other organizations including knitting and baking items for our Grange.
We welomed in one new Member Curt Upton!
And we are looking towards an exciting fall - with cooler weather, our Agricultural Fair, State and National Session. |
