| JULY 6, 2013 -- The 70 people who came to help us celebrate our 124th anniversary really received a warm welcome as the temperature during the day was 94. It wasn’t much cooler at night. We thank them all for coming. It was an enjoyable evening. Thanks also to Marge Bernhardt who helped us with the presentation of our “Citizen of the Year” Award and membership seals. Marge always a good job.
Past Voting Delegates present were: Mildred Bell and Marge and Bob Sendewicz. State Officers present were: Marge Bernhardt Lecturer, Carl Bernhardt, Deputy New Haven County Pomona, Eloise Osuch Lady Assistant Steward, Robert Buck Gatekeeper, Maggie Buck Agriculture Committee, Ruel Miller Executive Committee and Jane; Charles Dimmick Legislative Committee.
July 12th will be our next meeting and the program is “Sky Full of Fireworks. Mary Lou and Scott Raymond will provide the refreshments. |
