| JULY 6, 2013 -- Today, June 9th, we celebrated Mary Pearl’s 80 continuous years of Grange membership. Five members from Preston City Grange were present - Master: Joe LoPresti, Secretary: Mary Medbery, Dick Tarryk, son: John LeVangie, and daughter: Eloise “Buttons” Harrison. Also in attendance were daughter: Sue Schmidt, daughter in law (John’s wife): Carolyn LeVangie and roommate: Dot Strickland.
Master, Joe LoPresti presented the recognition to Mom and Dick Tarryk provided musical entertainment. A cake was enjoyed in celebration of this milestone. It was held in the Bistro at Fairview in Groton, CT. |
