Lyme Grange News for May
  MAY 13, 2013 --

Well, Mother Nature is trying hard to strut her stuff- by the time you read this I’m sure the daffodils will be blooming- the snow drops will have passed, forsythia and trees should be in bloom.  Spring at last!

Our March meeting was canceled due to snow predicted- had had it on the third Thursday.  CWA strutted their stuff with the Cookie Bake Off resulting in Marita Rand winning.  We voted to put up a black coated plastic chain link fence around our fairgrounds.  Lyme Grange Fair Assoc. and Lyme Grange will split the bill.

April brought the water being turned on.  Surprise!  Flooding all over.  What a mess!  The Ag. program was presented by the Lecturer.  It was fun.

In May we will welcome the deputy for inspection.  The Graces and Chaplain will present a program and Memorial Service.  they always do a terrific job.  An eighty five year certificiate has arrived for Virginia Gardner.  It will be presented to her at her home.  She will be 99 in May.  Congratulations, Virginia.

May 18:  Food & Plant Sale

June 6:  Guess Who?  Election
