| DECEMBER 11, 2012 -- Taghhannuck Grange had a very nice write-up in the Lakeville Journal on Nov. 15.
In addition, we received a wonderful thank you from Kent’s third graders: “Thank you for the wonderful dictionaries you gave each of us. We were very excited to receive them and to practice using them in our classroom last week. We took them home on Friday and plan to use them whenever we need help with a word. In class, we explored our dictionaries and found that they had lots and lots of exciting sections. Look inside to see some of our favorites.”
The dictionaries for Cornwall and Warren have yet to be given out but we hope to have more publicity.
Membership awards were recently presented to deserving members: Charles Schnell (25 year Silver Star); Myrtle & Harvey Hayden (40 Years- delayed from 2009); Elizabeth Drake (55 year seal); Andrew Olson (55 year seal - missed from 2010); Anne Campbell, Barbara Bartram, Claire Pedersen (60 year seals); Ted Drumm (65 year seal) and Jo Vaill (70 years).
