Simsbury Grange to host Fair, Sept. 15; Launches Online Entries
  AUGUST 20, 2012 --

Simsbury Grange will host its annual Agricultural Fair on Saturday, September 15th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The fair will feature a bake and craft sale, exhibits from local organizations and farms, kids’ activities, and contests with ribbons and cash prizes in several categories.

New this year, Simsbury Grange will be accepting entries via their online entry form. Those wishing to participate can now submit their entries online by going to http://www.simsburygrange.org/simsburyfairentry.asp

The community is invited to participate. Join us as an exhibitor and/or as an entrant into one of our many categories:

Exhibits: (Limited table spaces are available)
Non-profit – no charge ($20 requested if selling items); Others - $20

Contests with ribbons and cash prizes:

Adults:
• Fruits and vegetables
• Home Arts – quilting, sewing, knitting
• Baked goods
• Flowers and Plants

Children:
• Fruits and vegetables
• Lego creations
• Baked goods

Fair Brochures are available at the Simsbury Town Hall, Flamig Farm, the Senior Center, and the Simsbury Library or as a download at http://www.simsburygrange.org. As an added bonus, this year Simsbury Grange will be hosting the Agricultural Fair concurrently with the Simsbury Land Trust Annual Membership Celebration. Participants will be able to enjoy both events at no charge and free hay rides hosted by Flamig Farm to and from each venue.
