| AUGUST 4, 2012 -- The Iron Frog Tavern will host a fundraiser this month to benefit the Simsbury Land Trust and its efforts to protect the town's scenic landscapes. The Aug. 25 event will also benefit the Simsbury Grange.
It will feature live music by the R&B-old school-funk band Out the Boxx and will take place at 9 p.m. at the tavern, at 6 Wilcox St.
The fundraising will feature a "Reverse Happy Hour" with drink discounts starting at 11 p.m. Admission is free and the bar will donate a percentage of all purchases during the evening to the organizations.
Reservations are not required.
