| FEBRUARY 8, 2012 -- Glastonbury VFW and Post 7659 Women’s Auxiliary will be holding our Easter/Spring event to “Support Our Soldiers” to send a little bit of home to those serving our country this spring.
We have already collected Carmel Popcorn from the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts cookies. We need Easter treats and spring drawings of flowers from Connecticut to add to the boxes we will be making up. Helpers are needed to sort items, pack boxes, and draw flowers and Easter cards. Stories about Peeps traveling to Afghanistan and the peeps themselves are our spotlight item to collect.

Time: Noon to 3 PM
If you are unable to help out with this event but want to still help us, we always are in need of money for shipping the boxes to the Troops. An average month’s shipping cost is around $500.
