| DECEMBER 12, 2011 -- Westonites can get into the holiday spirit at the Norfield Grange during a concert of traditional Christmas music with jazz inflections by Weston-based musician Chris Coogan.
The concert will begin with Coogan and his jazz quintet playing original music from their new CD, "Stars and Wind."
"A major feature of our concert is to take the traditional carols and rearrange them with new jazz sensibilities,” Coogan said. "We will also perform original Christmas music that I have composed. The special soloist of the evening will be Michele Grace, who is a fine actress and singer."
A Chris Coogan Christmas Concert will take place 7 p.m. at Norfield Grange, 12 Goodhill Road, on Sunday, Dec. 18. Tickets, which are $25 for adults and $10 for children, will be sold at the door.
