| JULY 5, 2011 -- Meriden Grange, 540 Broad Street is gearing up for its 82nd annual Meriden Grange Fair on Saturday, September 10, 2011. This is a local fair open to the public. We are asking the public to help support Meriden Grange Fair by entering in this year’s contests.
The following contests will be open for entry: Assoc. of CT Fairs Contests (Adult & Junior Baking, Apple Pie, & Quilt), Needlework, Flower Show, Home Bakery, Canned Fruits and Vegetables, Fruits and Vegetables, Adult and Children Arts and Crafts, and Photography.
A full listing of all the contests and their categories are listed in the 82nd Annual Meriden Grange Fair Premium Book. Fair Premium Books will be available at Greenbacker’s Country Store-Agway, 744 Murdock Ave, Meriden, CT 06450; also at supporting businesses in the Meriden area. Meriden Grange Fair is affiliated with the Association of CT Fairs. The Adult and Junior Baking, Apple Pie and Quilt contest winners, from the Meriden Grange Fair, will have a chance at winning at the State runoffs scheduled in November. All contest entries will be accepted between 3PM and 9PM on Friday, September 9th.
