| MAY 1, 2026 -- By the time you read this column, the North East Lecturers Association Conference in Cortland, New York, will already be behind us. Ten Connecticut State Grange members made the journey to Cortland, and we look forward to sharing highlights with you soon.
Back home in Connecticut, we have some exciting events ahead!
State Grange Family Festival August 3 at Hillstown Grange
Mark your calendars now for the Connecticut State Grange Family Festival, taking place on Sunday, August 3, at Hillstown Grange. Sponsored jointly by the Family Activities and Lecturer’s Departments, this event promises a day full of fellowship, fun, and activities for members of all ages.
One of the highlights of the Lecturer’s Department is our annual Photo Contest, which continues to attract creative entries from Grangers across the state.
All photo entries must be ready for judging by 9:00 AM on Sunday, August 3. The hall will be open on Friday and Saturday prior to the event for members to drop off their entries.
Winning photos will be displayed in the State Grange Convention Hospitality Room before being returned to their owners.
