Around The Grange
Mar News from Winchester Grange No. 74

By Todd Gelineau

  MARCH 7, 2026 --

March 10: Wearing of the Green, Ref. Patrick O’Brien

March 24: Family Activities Program, Ref. Ramona Fassio

Apr. 14: The Pink Moon (Country Store), Ref. Mary Lou Keefe

Apr. 28: Baseball is Here, Ref. Kim & Randy Carlson

Due to illness and frigid temperatures, our attendance at February meetings was smaller than normal but we were able to hold both meetings despite being preceded by large snowstorms two days prior.

On Feb. 20 we held a tremendously successful Baked Potato Dinner. We thank Angela Cain for donating much of the food for the event and to Earl & Sandy Phillips for donating the chili. Every bit of the food was gone by the end of the evening and the proceeds have been divided between the Grange and the American Cancer Society which will receive $670. Thank you to everyone who supported this event now in its second year.

We are looking to hold a tag sale possibly in April when the cold weather breaks. Watch this column for updates. Until then, spring is coming!
