Around The Grange
September 2020 News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

By Joanne Cipriano

  September 3, 2020 --

Our members are anxious to get back to meeting and we will as soon as it is safe. We are still collecting for our tag and rummage sale which we plan to have as soon as things open up.

Our Grange musical group has been practicing regularly so that they should sound better than ever when we are able to safely open our Open Mics.

Our Grange family continues to grow. Pat Bisson has two new great-grandsons - Joseph and Rown Michael. Linda Morgante has a new grandson Joseph and by the time you read this Cindy and Ray Legg should have welcomed their first grandchild - a granddaughter.

It is with sadness that we report the passing of our Lady Assistant Steward Delores Merancy. Delores, though not a long-time member, has been LAS for 3 years and has been a very faithful member. Our sincere sympathy to  her granddaughter Rebeka also a member of Beacon Valley.

To end some confusion, our Grange, Beacon Valley #103 in Naugatuck is not closing. Sorry to say it is Beacon Grange #118 in Northfield (Litchfield).
