Around The Grange
June 2020 News from Taghhannuck Grange No. 100

By Barbara Prindle

  June 3, 2020 --

Over 30 cars paraded in front of Barbara Bartram’s house in honor of her 91st birthday. She hasn’t smiled like that for a long time!

Taghhannuck Grange canceled its April meeting and just had a Zoom get-together for catching up with our members.

We did meet virtually on May 14th   via Zoom for our regular monthly meeting and included some of the ritual. We voted on an application for membership and now have a new member who does a lot of community service and fits right into our Grange.

On Saturday, June 6th beginning at 9:00 A.M. we are holding our annual Plant Sale at our Grange Hall on Dunbar Road in Sharon. This year both vegetable and fl plants will be $2 and it is self serve with a donation box to drop in cash or checks. No change will be made so remember to bring small bills. Masks are required along with the 6’ physical distancing.  Sadly we will not be able to do the Rummage Sale at the same time inside our hall.
