Jan. 13: Out With the Old, In with the New

Feb. 10: Vacation

In November we learned all about the color orange with skits and quizzes and some Connecticut history added. Puzzling question –What is the color of nutmeg?

In December we will exchange crazy socks. If you would like to join the fun you need to get up early as we meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by snacks and conversation. Also in December, East Central Pomona members will get together on the first Saturday for one last Christmas party. Sister Kay will let us all know where we will meet. Enfield Grange will no longer be with many of the Granges that was East Central Pomona and will now be part of a new Pomona forming west of the river. New adventure –new friends to meet.

There is always a need to clean out closets and drawers and make room for something new. That is what we need to focus on in January. What old ideas aren’t working in our Grange and what new ones are we willing to try? Trying something new takes a bit of courage. If we are to grow, we have to be willing to test that courage. For the New Year, bring your ideas to share.

Where will we go on our vacation? Will we take a cruise or camp in the backyard? Come join us in a cold month and talk about the warm ones.
