| November 8, 2017 -- Connection Congratulations to Norman Stitham, Steward of Lyme Grange #147, who was chosen to receive the 2017 “Granger of the Year” Award. He designs and prints a Grange calendar, quarterly newsletter and posters just to name a few. All of these are beautifully laminated.
For the Animal Rescue Shelter Project he collected: 89 towels, 16 blankets, 4 bed cushion sets, 20 lbs. of kitty litter and numerous other items. Lyme Grange is fortunate to have him as a member.
As we come into the home stretch, for the Social Connection’s Helping Others Project we are asking each Grange to fill a white sock with toiletries and other useful items to be donated to the West Haven Veterans Hospital.
We have started plans for our annual dinner. We started with a mystery dinner and we will be ending with a mystery dinner. More on this later – check the Connecticut Granger.
